Ellis is dealing with an upper-body injury with his status for Sunday's Game 6 meeting with Pittsburgh up in the air, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Ellis left Thursday's contest in the second period after seeing just 10:44 of ice time. If the 26-year-old is unavailable, the Preds will be forced to shuffle their blue line with P.K. Subban likely to pair up with Roman Josi and Brad Hunt or Anthony Bitetto slotting into the lineup. Coach Peter Laviolette has played roster changes very close to the vest this postseason, so fantasy owners probably shouldn't expect Ellis' status to be announced until closer to puck drop Sunday.
