Ekblad is dealing with the stomach flu and will be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Islanders, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The virus has been working its way around the Panthers' locker room the last few days, with Ekblad and forward Tomas Kopecky seemingly the latest victims. Ekblad was unable to participate in the Panthers' gameday skate, but the team will see how he progresses through the afternoon before making a ruling on his status. The blueliner has appeared in all of the Panthers' previous 65 games this season, posting 11 goals and 34 points.
