Ekblad (illness) will not play Saturday against the Islanders, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Ekblad did not participate in Saturday's morning skate, but the team had hoped he'd recover enough during the afternoon to be able to take the ice. However, that will not be the case, and teammate Tomas Kopecky (illness) will also be held out.
