Eichel had two helpers in the Sabres' 6-4 win over the Sens on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With Ryan O'Reilly sitting out, Eichel played on the top line with Tyler Ennis and Evander Kane and he didn't disappoint. He fed Ennis on a beautiful two-on-one play, had four shots on goal and played 20:09, third on the team behind Ennis and Kane. He also went 9-for-18 in the circle, including 6-for-7 in the offensive zone but 1-for-8 in the defensive zone. That Eichel is finding success on the top line is very good news, since it gives the Sabres the option of putting O'Reilly on another line. Eichel certainly has more offensive upside, and if the Sabres are in a pinch they could use Eichel in that role. Eichel is a must-have for fantasy owners looking for players with high upside.
