Ehrhoff has been traded to the Blackhawks in exchange for Rob Scuderi, Chris Hine of the Chicago Tribune reports.

This is essentially a lateral swap of defenders who had been waived by their former clubs in 2015-16. Ehrhoff, who reportedly will cost the Blackhawks $1.25 million (after the Kings pay 15 percent of his salary) joins his fourth different club since 2013-14, having been a part of the Sabres, Penguins and Kings over that span. His tour with the Blackhawks might even be short lived as he'll become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
