Edmonton has called Yann Danis from the minors. The move was made after Nikolai Khabibulin was surprising placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Danis played two periods against San Jose earlier this season in relief of Devan Dubnyk and he stopped all 14 shots he faced. He should get some more playing time with the Oilers during this call-up, but how will depend on how long Khabibulin is sidelined for.
