Eddie Lack will play between the pipes on Wednesday. Lack was great for 40 minutes against the New York Islanders on Monday...then the incident happened. Although he can't be completely blamed for the Islanders' seven-goal third period, he certainly played a large role in it. Canucks coach John Tortorella felt it was important to get Lack back out there following one of the worst 20-minute stretches in the history of the franchise and given that they've traded away Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo, it's not like Vancouver has a particularly appealing alternative goaltender anyways.
