Saad's first game for the Blues came against his former team, as he set up the first of David Perron's two goals in the contest. The 28-year-old Saad struggled a bit with the Avalanche last year, posting 24 points in 44 games despite a career-best 22.1 shooting percentage. He's set to fill a top-six role in St. Louis, and that gives him a good chance to get back over the 40-point mark in a scoring-only role.
