Dvorak will be out of the lineup against the Sharks on Friday with a lower-body injury, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Dave Tippett described the malady as day-to-day, which indicates Dvorak should be ready to go for Opening Night, but fantasy owners will want to continue monitoring the situation as the start of the season approaches. If healthy, the 20-year-old will be making his NHL debut after three years playing for the London Knights in the OHL that included a 2015-16 campaign in which he garnered 52 goals and 69 assists in just 59 outings. It appears the rookie will slot into the third line, but could challenge for top-six minutes and significantly increase his fantasy value.
