Dvorak announced his retirement Tuesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports. Dvorak, 37, was a solid player throughout his 18-season NHL career, which begun in 1995-96 with the Panthers. Over 1,260 career games with the Panthers, Rangers, Oilers, Blues, Thrashers, Stars, Ducks, and Hurricanes, Dvorak compiled 227 goals and 590 points. His best season came in 2000-01 with the Rangers, during which he recorded a career-high 67 points.
