Duncan Keith has racked up 17 points in his last 13 games. He leads all NHL defensemen with 42 points in 45 matches and he sits third in the league with 39 assists entering Monday night's action. Keith has drawn plenty of praise for his work at both ends of the ice this year. "He's defended better. His gap has been better," coach Joel Quenneville said. "Offensively, his play selection or his puck patience, he's added another level or element to it. Consistency is the best way to measure a defenseman, and that's what we're seeing." He's a lock to be on Team Canada's roster for the Winter Olympics, which gets announced Tuesday morning, and he's a mid-season frontrunner for the Norris Trophy as well.
