Duchene scored a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over Dallas on Saturday. It's been an up-and-down season for Duchene and the Avs this season, but on Saturday night Duchene put in one of his strongest performances with two points, six shots on net and winning 62 percent of his draws. He now has 16 points in 24 games this season, a respectable total, but still far off from his point-per-game pace last year. Duchene has the talent but has yet to establish himself as an elite player in the NHL.
