The 30-year-old defenseman is more of a physical player than a scorer -- he's at 10 points, 134 hits, 67 shots on goal, 57 PIM, 52 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 50 contests overall. With Bowen Byram (head), Ryan Murray (upper body) and Samuel Girard (lower body) out, Manson should see top-four minutes in the near term.
