Downie left the first period of Tuesday's game after taking a Ryan Suter elbow to his head and didn't return. It looks as if the rugged forward likely suffered some sort of head injury, likely a concussion. His stock has taken a hit in recent games. As the team's health has improved, Downie has moved down from the first line to the third. He'll still provide ample penalty minutes, however.
