Ekblad helped out on tallies by Anthony Duclair and Jonathan Huberdeau. While the result wasn't great for the Panthers, Ekblad snapped his three-game dry spell on offense. He's up to 10 goals, 27 assists, 13 power-play points, 122 shots on net, a plus-26 rating and 22 PIM through 41 appearances. He needs only four more points to match his career-high 41 from the 2019-20 campaign, and it's pretty safe to say he'll shatter that mark with half of a season to go.
