Devils coach Pete DeBoer said Friday he would wait until this morning to decide whether to put rookie defenseman Adam Larsson back in his lineup for tonight's game in Carolina.
Larsson has sat out the last two games as a healthy scratch - the first time this season he has watched games when uninjured. It's been a dramatic turnaround from the start of the season when Larsson, the fourth overall pick in June's NHL Draft, was playing top-four minutes and was the quarterback on the right point on the first power-play unit. That was a lot to ask of a player who was just 18 years old when the season began, and was living an ocean away from his home and family in Sweden for the first time.
