The move comes as a bit of a surprise considering DeKeyser was waived by the team Monday but apparently picked up an undisclosed injury since then. Still, the fact that DeKeyser cleared waivers likely will see him headed down to AHL Grand Rapids whenever he is given the green light to return to action.
