Derek Stepan was one of two Ranger players to help clear the puck from the goal line after it squeezed behind goaltender Henrik Lundqvist in Game 4's 2-1 win over Los Angeles. "Just trying to do whatever I could to get the puck away from the goal line," Stepan said. "I saw the puck, got it and pushed it back under Hank. He never stops surprising me. He's our best player and we're going to need him." Stepan's big play came late in the third while the Kings were pressing, while defenseman Anton Stralman's stick helped prevent the puck from dribbling in earlier in the contest.
