Stepan, who had already set his career high in points, continued his solid season for the Rangers. He now has 16 goals and 38 assists in 78 games this season. Defenseman John Moore, in his first game after missing six games to recover from a concussion, scored on the first shot of the game at 2:10 of the first period for a 1-0 Rangers lead.
