Doan picked up his first point of the season when he netted the tying goal late in the third period to force overtime. The 22-year-old has played as a center on the third line, though he has seen limited ice time despite a role on the second power-play unit so far. Utah has a number of promising young forwards, Doan included, but he's not at the top of the pecking order. He produced nine points in 11 games at the end of last year following a late promotion.
