Denver Post columnist Adrian Dater speculates that the Avalanche could trade Jean-Sebastien Giguere at the deadline. Of course, that is provided Giguere is fully recovered from his groin muscle pull. It is an interesting position to take on Dater's part, but he correctly reasons that if Semyon Varlamov is the Avs' goalie of the future, and Colorado falls completely out of the playoff hunt, why not get something for Giguere while he still has value.
