Dennis Seidenberg contributed two assists in Boston's comeback that fell just short against the New York Rangers Tuesday night.

The Bruins rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the third period before losing in the shootout. Seidenberg had four shots and a plus-2 rating as well in the contest. He replaced rookie Dougie Hamilton on Boston's top power-play unit during the third period because coach Claude Julien was impressed with his play.
