DeMelo will remember the 2015-16 campaign as the time he broke into the NHL while serving as a depth defenseman. The 22-year-old has played nearly three times as many games in the NHL than the minor-league affiliate this season. He's only combined for nine points in 46 contests between the different league league levels, but is held in high regard by the Sharks for his ability to move the puck and limit mistakes.
