Defenseman Luke Schenn scored his first goal of the young season as he and the Philadelphia Flyers were edged 2-1 by the Hurricanes in Carolina Sunday. Schenn scored at 3:01 into the second period when he skated around Carolina's Drayson Bowman and snapped the puck above goalie Anton Khudobin's left shoulder.
