Defenseman Kyle Quincey is looking forward to playing the whole season with the Detroit Red Wings. Quincey was dealt to the Red Wings from Colorado through Tampa Bay on February 1 and found it a bit difficult to adjust to a new role. "It's just a different role (after a trade)," Quincey said. "You get a role on any team. You come here, and you have to find your new role. Every team you go on, you're going to be in a different role. That's part of the game. That's why they pay you. After a while you kind of see where you fit in. Special teams are where I fit in here the most. You know your role. You come to the rink every day and you know what you have to focus on." Quincey is a restricted free agent come the first of July but expect him to re-sign with the Red Wings who gave the Lightning their first round pick in June's draft to acquire Quincey. He was also named to Team Canada on Saturday for the World Tournament as the Canadians suffered an injury to their blueline when P.K. Subban was sent home.
