Defenseman Jake Gardiner scored two goals in Toronto's 6-2 loss to San Jose Tuesday night. His second goal was his first ever shorthanded goal in the NHL. He now has eight goals and 12 assists in 65 games this season. Mason Raymond assisted both of Gardiner's goals.
