Defenseman Jake Gardiner scored a goal in Toronto's 6-4 triumph over Houston Thursday night. Gardiner, who notched 30 points last season for the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs, is excelling with the AHL's Marlies. He is having no problem being among the top players in the AHL while the lockout drags on. Keith Aucoin also chipped in with a goal in the Marlies' win in Houston.
