David Savard scored a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets in a 3-1 win over Minnesota Tuesday night. The goal was the first of Savard's young NHL career and the offensive-minded rearguard now has seven points in 18 games this season. Jeff Carter scored a goal for the second straight game while Antoine Vermette also tallied for the seventh time in the victory.
