David Jones hopes to redeem his poor 2013 season with a good final 10 games. Hones has only three goals and seven points in 28 games after returning to action on Monday from a knee injury. "When Jonesie's playing well, he's a physical player," coach Joe Sacco said. "He needs to play like that all the time, and I think he got away from that. He's a guy who needs to unnerve the opposition. He needs to get in on the forecheck and use his size and speed - and then he gets chances with his good shot after that. He's always been a streaky player, but this year he never really caught fire. But he's got a chance to finish well, at least." He replaced Aaron Palushaj in the Avs lineup as Palushaj was a healthy scratch.
