David Jones (groin) did not practice on Thursday and will not be in the Colorado lineup on Friday when they play their final game before Christmas. It was thought that Jones, who has been out since December 13, would be okay to go for Wednesday's game but he missed that one and is now shooting to return after the Christmas break. He has seven goals and 14 points in 31 games thus far this season.
