David Backes suffered a foot injury blocking a shot during the third period Saturday and did not return. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, coach Ken Hitchcock said that Backes is day-to-day but should be fine in a few days. Backes is one of the best all-round fantasy players with 21 goals and 48 points to go with a plus-17 rating and 93 penalty minutes. While his point totals are down this season, Backes is an outstanding player in traditional leagues.
