David Backes netted his fifth goal of the season Thursday to help the Blues achieve a 3-2 shootout victory over Chicago. Backes seemed to have lost his scoring touch during the shortened season last year, but he has clearly regained it again. Alexander Steen also continued his strong start to the year by burying his fifth goal in the victory.
