Datsyuk (shoulder) says he's feeling better but still hasn't been cleared for contact, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports. It was going to be a stretch for Datsyuk to get back for the first week of the season, as his three-week original timetable wasn't going to get him back in time to start the season. The Wings don't want to rush back the 36-year-old, so until he's practiced for a day or two, don't expect him in the lineup.
