Datsyuk is nursing a lower-body injury and will miss the Red Wings' next two games, set for Thursday and Friday, Chuck Pleiness of the Macomb Daily reports. Datsyuk likely sustained the injury at some point during the Red Wings' back-to-back set over the past weekend, as he logged well below his normal amount of ice time in both contests. At this juncture, coach Mike Babcock doesn't believe Datsyuk's injury is more than a day-to-day situation, as he may only need a few days off before returning to action as soon as Sunday against the Blues. Riley Sheahan is expected to slide into a top-six role during Datsyuk's absence.
