Darren Dreger is reporting that John Mitchell is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. He had only one assist in 18 playoff games with the Rangers after scoring five goals and 16 points in 63 regular season games. He is a bottom six forward with very, very little fantasy value.
