Daniel Cleary has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract worth $1.75 million to stay with the Detroit Red Wings. The deal he received to join Philadelphia was $8.25 million over the next three years, so he took less to remain in Detroit. Cleary frequently said that he wanted to re-sign with Detroit and he got his wish even though he was very close to becoming a member of the Flyers.
