Daniel Cleary could become an unrestricted free agent on July 5. While the Red Wings would like to re-sign Cleary and Cleary clearly wants to return to Detroit, he could decide to see what is available to him as an unrestricted free agent. Cleary had only nine goals and 15 points during the regular season but was outstanding in the playoffs with four goals and 10 points, second on the team to Henrik Zetterberg who had 12 points.
