Daniel Alfredsson had to take a couple of shifts on defense near the end of Sunday's game. Game 3 was a chippy and fight-filled affair, which led to plenty of game misconducts and shortened benches. Montreal's Tomas Plekanec got some time on the back end as well as the final minutes ticked away. Alfredsson enjoyed a productive night in Game 3 with a goal and two assists in Ottawa's 6-1 victory.
