Daniel Alfredsson (back) was able to fully participate in the Senators' informal practice on Tuesday. Alfredsson was involved in every drill over the 70-minute on-ice session before joining his teammates in a scrimmage. Although taking part in a pre-training camp session and playing in a regular season game are obviously two different things, this is a very encouraging sign. He hasn't played since February 7th and was limited to just 54 games last season. We'll keep you posted, but for now, consider him probable for the season opener.
