Danault was recalled from AHL Rockford on Friday. The Blackhawks cleared up an opening for Danault by placing Patrick Sharp (knee) on long-term injured reserve. Danault, who had 10 points in 14 games for Rockford, will give the Blackhawks some additional depth at center while Andrew Shaw (upper body) remains day-to-day.
