Danault (illness) will suit up against New Jersey on Thursday despite missing the game-day skate, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.

Danault needs just one point to tie his 2015-16 production which he accrued in 51 contests split between the Canadiens and the Blackhawks. Although the center started the season off strong, he has waned of late and is bogged down in a 11-game pointless streak. The Habs appear to have avoided the need to make a recall from the minors since Danault will be able to power through his illness.
