Danault has come down with an illness that kept him off the ice for morning skate Wednesday, Dan Robertson of TSN 690 reports.

The question is whether Danault will be healthy enough to suit up for the evening's contest against the Devils. Traded to the Habs last February, the Quebec native has been a relatively efficient scorer -- five goals and four assists in 26 games -- despite a limited amount of ice time -- 12:49 per contest. Hopefully the team reevaluates him soon and leaves enough time for his owners to adjust lineups accordingly, but then again, he might not command high ownership with constrained role.
