Chicago waived Quenneville on Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Quenneville split time between the AHL and NHL last season. He went scoreless in nine games with the Blackhawks, but added 22 points in 36 minor-league appearances. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 2014 first-round pick end up on Chicago's taxi squad.
