Cullen agreed to terms on a new one-year deal with the Penguins on Wednesday worth $1 million.
EDGE Analysis
Cullen returns to Pittsburgh with a slight raise from his $800,000 deal last year for a chance to win his third title. The 39-year-old was vital to the Pens' penalty kill, as he averaged over three minutes per game shorthanded, while tallying a trio of shorties. The veteran was one of the few guys to log not only 82 regular season games, but also competed in all 24 playoffs contests. Although his production won't jump off the page to fantasy owners, he has reached the 20-point mark in all but one of his 19 NHL seasons.
