Craig Anderson was not present on the bench because of the coaching staff's concerns about his previous ankle injury. Anderson was backing up Robin Lehner, who got the call against the Flyers. "It's a strategic thing, I guess. I'm not sure. However the coach explains it, that's good enough," Anderson said of not being on the bench with his teammates. Anderson said he was told he'll start Friday night's game in between the pipes.
