Couturier recorded an assist in Wednesday's win over the Penguins. Couturier's production has been noticeably of quiet over the last month or so, as he's collected only three points over his last 14 games. It hasn't helped matters that one of his linemates, Wayne Simmonds, was lost for the season last week due to a fractured left leg. Couturier is still only 23 years old, but it appears the future stardom his rookie year of 2011-12 seemed to hint at might have been exaggerated.
