Couturier missed Wednesday's practice with a stomach virus, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Flyers gave Couturier the day off to recover from the illness with the hope that he'll be ready to go for Thursday's morning skate. If Couturier ends up participating in that session, he'll likely receive clearance to play later that evening against the Panthers.
