Couturier ended a five-game scoring slump Thursday with a goal and an assist in a win over the visiting Panthers. Because the last time he found the scoresheet, Couturier notched three points on Oct. 22 against the Penguins, he actually owns a respectable five points in his last seven games. Still, it certainly doesn't look like his offensive game has taken any kind of step forward from last year, when he recorded 39 points over 82 contests.
