Reimer (lower body) may be available to at least serve as the backup against Florida on Tuesday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Coach Bob Boughner won't go so far as to confirm a starter for Tuesday's tilt but did at least indicate Reimer will be an option. WIth Adin Hill (lower body) back in the infirmary, the 33-year-old Reimer may be pressed into service versus the Panthers, though Zach Sawchenko is also an option. In order to suit up, Reimer will need to be activated off injured reserve.
