Labanc has been making progress in his recovery from the shoulder surgery he underwent in mid-December, but the Sharks aren't in a position to make the playoffs, so he may simply be shut down for the remainder of the campaign to avoid any risk of reinjury. If that ends up being the case, he'll finish the season having tallied six points through 21 contests.
